Hello,
What a whirlwind month August was!
It was such a blessing to witness Ted and Erin getting married. It was a beautiful ceremony and perfect for them. They planned the whole thing and it really went great. I still have to get used to seeing a wedding ring on his finger!
The rest of the month just flew by! We worked extra hard at the office while Ted was gone on his mini-moon. Then I led a group of 16 down to Haiti, including Levi and Riley. It was a great team with nearly half the team in the 15-22 year old range. They brought a lot of energy to the team and it was so rewarding to share the experience with them.
Riley and I came back with the team on the 18th while Mike was flying down to Haiti the same day. Levi stayed behind to help Mike, my brother Russ and a few others put a roof on an orphanage. It was so neat to be at the orphanage the week before to see the ragged torn tarps blowing in the wind knowing there would be a new roof coming! We all had such a great time there. It’s so nice to see the changes and the progress being made in the short months between visits.

Special thanks to all of you who supported our team. We had 32 suitcases of items to bring to the orphanages and to the Tent Cities. The good news is that the Tent City by the guesthouse is gone. We were able to bless the staff and families of Healing Haiti with full suitcases of items that are so critically needed down there. Money donations went to supplies for the orphan activities, which were super fun. I can’t wait to get another trip on the books!
Mike and I celebrate our 22nd anniversary this month as well as birthdays for Ben, myself and Riley. Ry got to have a birthday in Haiti, which was pretty awesome. Ben just moved to San Diego and started a new job, so he enjoyed a low key birthday with his girlfriend, Elli.
Our Client Appreciation Picnic is Sunday, September 14th from 1-4 p.m. at Bryant Lake Park in Eden Prairie.
We hope that you can come and join us for an afternoon of fellowship, food and fun. We will be collecting again for the food shelf and donations are very much appreciated, if you feel so inclined.
The housing market continues to be strong and in full force. It’s not too late to consider a move before the snow (sorry to bring that word up) flies. Give us a call for a no-pressure consultation!
We hope you have a great Labor Day and the kids have a safe return to school.

P.S…Who do you know that is not in a lease that may be considering buying? While the market is strong, it’s not impossible to buy! Give a call to see if the time is right!
